Steam generation

Water treated according to the manufacturers’ requirements is needed to ensure efficient steam generation and steam quality parameters. Arionex designs custom solutions depending on the raw water quality, equipment used, environmental and technological requirements. This enables to achieve the required quality parameters at an optimal cost. Brakish surface, sea water and deep water may be used in water treatment.

Water treatment for cooling systems

Properly treated water nearly eliminates the corrosion of equipment and pipelines, scale sedimentation onto the heated surfaces and biofilm growth in cooling cycles. Arionex solutions ensure maximum service life of equipment, and minimise operational and maintenance costs.

Steam condensate treatment

Steam condensate used in other technological processes (e.g. heating of equipment or medium) may be contaminated with oil products and various salts. The condensate must be treated to the required technical parameters before it can be returned to the production cycle.

Treatment and recovery of contaminated Process Condensates discharged from Ammonium Nitrate production Plants

The Process Condensate contaminated with ammonia and ammonium nitrate is demineralised across a special ion exchange system which remove ammonium ions by a special cation resin and nitrate by a special anion resin. As result demineralised water is produced. By regeneration of the loaded cation resin in NH4 form resin with 50-60 % HNO3 and of the loaded anion resin in NO3 form with 15-20 % NH3 a highly 18 – 20 % concentrated NH4NO3 solution is eluted which is concentrated to 75 – 80 % NH4NO3 by vacuum evaporation. By recycling of the concentrated NH4NO3 solution and of produced demineralised water back to the production plants a profit of million Euro per year may be achieved and no nitrogen contaminated waste effluents are discharged to the environment (zero discharged system).
