ZERO discharge demineralization process for fertilizer industry

“Water plays a crucial role in the fertilizer industry, primarily in steam generation, cooling cycles, and, more recently, hydrogen production. Two main technologies are relied upon for water demineralization: ion exchange and reverse osmosis. Ion exchange technology generates 5 – 10% wastewater as a byproduct,
contaminated with regenerants like NaOH, H2SO4, or HCl. In contrast, reverse osmosis technology produces a discharge stream of 20 – 30% from the input water, with salts concentrated four to five times higher than raw water. Both technologies create pollution that is environmentally undesirable for disposal.” Read More

Environment & Water Technologies Business Mission to Singapore and Philippines 2019

Most human activities that use water, produce wastewater. As the overall demand for water grows, the amount of wastewater produced is continuously increasing worldwide.

In Asia, as the population and economies grow, the supply of clean water and the quality of water are ever increasingly important issues.

The EU has some of the highest environmental standards and policies that protect our natural habitat, keep air and water clean, ensure proper waste disposal, improve knowledge about toxic chemicals and help businesses move toward a sustainable economy.

The Environment and Water Technologies business mission will take European companies to Singapore for one-to-one business meetings with local partners.

This year Arionex has participated in the Environment and Water Technologies business mission.
